Shiori Sakurai, based in Tokyo, leads STR’s client relations and growth in Japan. She has over nine years of experience in both real estate and luxury global hotel chains. In real estate, Shiori led serviced apartment management strategies and operations, and also supported project management for new domestic developments. Then she took on a global sales role with a major international hotel chain, supporting sales strategies and distribution channel management for its hotel groups both overseas and in Japan. She also contributed to the local launch for a new loyalty program. Shiori joined STR in 2016.
Business Leader, Travel
Currently based in Singapore, Beata has been at Google for two years and is responsible for scaling Travel Vertical Search products, with special focus on Google Hotel Ads, across APAC. Beata has been working in the international travel industry & in digital marketing for 10+ years in Spain, Argentina and Ireland and she has moved to Singapore from Dublin recently. Beata holds a degree in Travel and Business Management.
Senior Director of Global Channel Sales
Bringing over fifteen years of hospitality experience to Sojern, Amy leads the global channel sales efforts. She is responsible for finding and fostering new global partnerships and working with Sojern's regional teams to help grow the global footprint. Amy has successfully contributed to establishing and building the hospitality focused technology companies.
In her previous leadership roles at Amadeus Hospitality, Nor1 and Sabre Hospitality Solutions, Amy led the business development team in the Americas and directly managed relationships with the major stakeholders including individual properties, channel partners, hotel brands, owners and management companies to drive adoption and engagement of distribution channels and travel merchandising solutions.

Rachel Grier is the Managing Director, Asia Pacific for IDeaS – A SAS COMPANY, responsible for growing IDeaS Asia business and enhancing the company’s leading brand reputation in the dynamic Asian hospitality sector.
With more than two decades of leadership experience in enterprise software as well as hospitality sales and marketing, she has a record of growing businesses in the regional aviation, hospitality and travel sectors across a range of established and emerging markets in Asia, Pacific and the Middle East.
Most recently she was senior vice president sales, Asia Pacific, China and the Middle East for hotel central reservations leader Pegasus Solutions.
Gino Engels is a co-founder of OTA Insight, where he focuses on engaging local and global players in the hospitality industry to share the challenges they face in the digital landscape and aims to provide tools and insights to help hoteliers overcome their technological barriers.
Prior to co-founding OTA Insights, Gino had a successful career in the drinks and entertainment industry. He worked with leading global retailers to build profitable promotional campaigns that were focused on improving brand visibility through offline and online channels.
Kazuyoshi joined TrustYou as its Managing Director in October 2015 to establish TrustYou KK. He started his career at Tokyo Corporation and established Tokyu Hotels after restructuring the hotel business in the Tokyu Group. He also worked in companies such as Solare Hotels and Resorts, Octopus Travel, Agoda, Rakuten Travel and Groupon. He has an extensive knowledge and experience in marketing, e-commerce and the hospitality industry.
Guillaume is the co-CEO of FASTBOOKING. A digital and business services specialist for more than 15 years, Guillaume de Marcillac began his consulting career at Bain & Company before joining Disneyland Paris, where he was responsible for strategic planning. In 2000, he participated in the creation of Egencia, an online business travel agency which was purchased several years later by the Expedia group. He served as FASTBOOKING’s Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer from 2008 to 2012, and subsequently rejoined the company in May 2015 as co-CEO.

In 2001, Pierre-Charles Grob started his career with Accor in New York, where he contributed to the creation of the marketing department in North America for the Sofitel and Novotel brands. While still in New York, he joined the Monaco Tourist Office to promote this destination and its luxury hotels. Returning to Europe, Pierre-Charles was first at the Monte-Carlo SBM Group in various roles – sales, marketing and e-distribution; and subsequently joined FASTBOOKING in 2010. He began by leading revenue optimisation for the company and rose rapidly to manage operations in Europe thereafter. Since 2014 Pierre-Charles has been FASTBOOKING’s Director for Asia, based in Singapore.

Toshimitsu “Tom” Fukushima was appointed Representative Director of FASTBOOKING JAPAN K.K. in 2010.He started up FASTBOOKING JAPAN K.K as the subsidiary of FASTBOOKING France alone and expanded the number of hotel user clients to more than 400 with 10 team members. He served as Representative Director of WORLDHOTELS and Regional Manager of Pegasus Solutions in the past engaging Inbound/Outbound of hotel online business. He had achieved top sales record in Asia Pacific through the last position of General Manager and Area Sales Manager of Regus PLC Japan. He distinguished himself in the area of Sales, Marketing and PR.
Revenue Optimisation Service Director
Shigemi Shimada is the Revenue Optimisation Service Director for FASTBOOKING Japan. She joined FASTBOOKING in 2011, responsible for account management and revenue optimisation since the establishment of the Japan office.
Prior to joining FASTBOOKING, she was engaged in electronic distribution and digital marketing at TravelClick through her role of account management and sales. She also has experience in the sales and marketing role at Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza and Kempinski Hotels & Resorts till 2006.
